Don't wait till 1st January to get moving. Get out there today and exercise for 20 minutes or make it a 20 km distance. It doesn't matter what you do, it's your time - have fun and be creative! I challenge you to take it up. I want you to get/stay fit, get/stay strong; be courageous but safe.
Suggestions -Horse ride -Try 20 sets of 5 exercises (that's 4 sets per exercise) try a combination of a push exercise (like a push up or bench press) and then a pull exercise (a chin-up or Lat pull down), perform a leg exercise (like a body weight squat or a 45 degree leg press, then a lying leg curl or a lunge). Mix it up and have fun, it's up to you! -Try 20 reps of body weight exercises alone, like pushups, walking lunges, squats, burpees. -Ride your bike for 20kms -Run for 20 minutes -Run 20 km's -Walk/run on the beach for 20 minutes, depending upon your fitness level -Swim 20 laps at your local pool -Walk briskly for 20 minutes. - Put on a 20 minute workout DVD (don't worry if it goes for 25-30 minutes). -20 box jumps -20 minutes of dancing to your favourite music. -Weights circuit for 20 minutes. - Ski, snowboard -Water Skiing - 20/20/20 mix up your cardio routine! 20 minutes on rower, 20 minutes on treadmill, 20 minutes on stepper.
